Lynette Cunynghame is a follower of Jesus who is a wife and a mum, a friend, a daughter, a sister and an aunty. She loves helping children and young people with disabilities reach towards their goals in her role as an Occupational Therapist. She has a passion for all children to know the love of Jesus, especially children who are vulnerable or disadvantaged. She has a diploma of Theology (Children’s ministry) through Anglican Youthworks College and attends City On A Hill church in Wollongong, Australia. She loves to spend time with her loved ones, walk her dog on the beach with her family, chat on the phone, play games, spend time in God’s creation, sing, read, write and eat chocolate. She hopes and prays that her books will point people to the God who loves them.
MEET THE ILLUSTRATOR
Trudie Faulkner is a wife and mum of 2 young teenage boys. She lives in the Illawarra, NSW Australia and attends a local church in Figtree. Pre mum life she was trained and worked so happily for around 20 years in early childhood preschool settings. A born creative soul who plays with many creative projects, pretty much everything except sewing so far. She also makes and sells unique handmade earrings. Initially uncertain and far from confident, she found herself accepting the role of illustrator for Gems Books, and it gave her a new and exciting opportunity to bring words and pictures to life to share God’s love. She hopes and prays that these books will bring delight and encouragement to every reader’s heart.
